"Think that rap sucks? You might change your opinion after listening to the rap-rave group from South Africa, Die Antwoord.

'Die Antwoord' means 'The Answer' in Afrikaans, the name came up from the lead vocalist, Ninja. "Everything I did before Die Antwoord was me experimenting, messing around and trying to find die antwoord... Everything before it was disposable. It was all throwaway," he told to Rolling Stones magazine.

One of the reason you should know them is because of including the Zef culture in musical and visual aspects. 'Zef' is an Afrikaans term for the term 'swag', but better. They have been noticed by Diplo, David Lynch, the director of District 9 Neill Blomkamp, M.I.A. and Harmoney Korine. Their video 'Enter The Ninja' was even being awarded as the 'Best Music Video 2010' by Myspace.

Their addictive Zef-styled beats and lyrics are what attracts the listeners. Fatty Boom Boom is one of the example."
